A boy named Steve!

This is Africa.  And, Steve is not an African name.  But, this little guy is named Steve.

Steve is about 2 years old.  He is very small for his age and is recovering from serious malnutrition.  His case is still under investigation but it is thought that his mother has died.  At this time, no one knows the identity or location of his father.

Steve came to live in the orphanage today.  He has AIDS and is receiving treatment for the disease.  When his home study is finished he will be available for adoption.

Life is NOT Fair!

Introducing Geilila!  This delightful little guy is four years old.  He has a very engaging little personality.  He is loving and affectionate.  He is a little chatter box.  He is a protector and care-taker of our younger children.  He just arrived in our orphanage this week (Nov 27th).

Geili’s mama died this past year and his father is unknown.  He was being cared for by his elderly maternal grandfather in a far from ideal situation marginalized from family and society.  Grandfather is blind.  Geili is
HIV Positive.

We are working on Geili’s papers but he will be available for adoption and I know that the Lord has a family already prepared and just waiting to bring him home!
